No interior lights

So I go out in the garage yesterday open the driver's door and no interior lights. Damn battery toast? Shouldn't be....turn the key the car starts.
Mmmm...check the fuse..its good. Check passenger door, no lights either.

Any suggestions?

Which fuse did you check? On a 67/68, it is the right-hand vertical fuse (7.5 amps). Even if the fuse is good, the contacts between the fuse and the fuse clips may be bad. I've also seen fuse clips that need to be re-crimped at the wire connections (on the backside of the fuse box).

How to check? Use a DVM and check continuity between the two sets of fuse clips (not the fuse). If that works, find a green/yellow female bullet plug and check the voltage. It should be 12V.

Perhaps all of your courtesy lamps are burned out?

Messr Mikey,
Sounds like bad fuse if both door switches don't activate the lights. Replace the fuse to see what happens.
