The wife found a new use for an angle grinder:

Moostang has been doing all of the trimming for awhile, and Scout has very, very hard hooves. Doing a trim has all been a back killer. Sabrina read an article about using an angle grinder with a sanding disc. It went fast and easy.

My Grandfather used to do corrective shoe for race horses, he use a drill motor 40 years ago it had a sanding disk on it. He said it used to save him tons of time and he could be more accurate!

It is a cooler trick with an angle grinder!

Neat trick !

I bet that smell is a bit different that mild steel.

The smell is a little different than what I'm used to, but it's not too bad or very strong. I just can't believe Scout just stood there.

This is how I use right angle gringer..............

I was thinking about that too. Those things make a lot of noise. I wear ear protection when ever I use one. Maybe Scout's a little hard of hearing ?
