Need to know nut size

I need to know the nut size that is on the 68 power steering gear box where it attaches to the Pitman Arm. I put this nut on 6 years ago but I can not find the socket for it. I measured with the calipers and it measured 1.334 which is between 1 5/16 and 1 3/8.

I need to get the socket tonight on my way home from work.

Thanks Craig, I will stop by and get on tonight.

I thought changing out the steering box would only take about an hour. This always happens.
 
How I knew this was because I just finished replacing a power steering box in my friends 78 Jeep and I hadn't put the socket away yet so I grabbed it and slid under Shag for a test fit.

I would have liked to but it's been so long since my wife took mine I forgot what they looked like.
 
Picked up the 3/4" drive socket last night and this morning I neutered the steering box (took its nut off) :hide. Hope to get the new box in tomorrow since the wife and I have plans for tonight.
 
What a PITA getting the steering box out. If I had headers, I would of had to remove them to get the box out. As it was, it took 30 min to figure out how to fish it out. I still need to put the Pitman arm on and line up the steering wheel. I thew out my back Saturday at the farm when unloading all the deer corn so I am hurting today.
 
I believe the pitman arm and the steering box output shaft are splined in a way that you cant mess up too much.

Nevertheless center the steering column shaft and make sure the wheels are pointing straight. The arm should slide right on.
