Need recommendations for Front and Rear Disk Conversion kits

I need more stopping power for my 65. The Kelsey Hayes front disks and oversize Granada drums are not enough anymore even though the Porterfield carbon kevlar pads and shoes were an improvement.

I want to convert to the Cobra disks front and back.

I see this all inclusive kit VFR13BW-MA-CDS from Vintage Venom for $1449. Has anyone else used this kit or other kits from VV?

Any other recommendations are very welcome!

I currently have the 1" bore aluminum master cylinder from Cobra Automotive. Due to its bore, the travel was shorter, but more force had to be applied. I'm wondering how it will work with the Cobras.

I already have a proportioning valve.

Thanks

Call Shaun at street or track. He'll get you set up!

Tracy,

Where' ya been boy?
You need to hang out here more....hint , hint.

You know we'll be in Pismo Sep 28-29 for MITM.....you should come.

Now where is that lawn chair??????

I think SacBill has it.

Tracy,

Lots of options out there. I don't believe there is such a thing as overkill, especially when it concerns brakes. Stopping 10' shorter could mean life or death.

With my current list of systems I decided I wanted to not be concerned with being price competitive but instead use only the best parts I could source to put together the best systems I could. American made rotors, calipers, pads along with machining our brackets in the Mid-West. A few guys here already use them and could give feedback I'm sure.

If you want to discuss what we have that will work with your setup let me know.
