It's at the main MCA webpage via a 12 minute video. Scroll past all of the words each MCA Board member says until the announcement itself.
 
There probably also will be a special event held in Dearborn in mid-summer.
 
Here's the link to the video, I can only get it to play for 5 seconds before it locks up...would be nice to have written info. along with the video, once again the MCA website aggravates the hell outta me. I had to search to find the hottest topic and then it's only in video form that won't play for me...I also tried to leave comments and it won't let me do that either.

It's just the basic info for now. There will be two 50th celebrations, Las Vegas and Charlotte, on the same days, April 16-20, 2014. You do not need to be an MCA member to participate in these shows. Ford also probably will do their own celebration in Dearborn in mid-summer. That's about it.
 
Thanks Laurie, I didn't realize they would happen the same dates due to the indiv. replies everyone gave. Sure would be nice if MCA could have that info. written along with the video.

I'm sure the written info will go up shortly. I guess they thought the video would be a cute idea. I found it rather painful to watch. Sure am glad I missed the meeting, otherwise I would have been stuck in it! LOL

MCA seemed to want to focus more upon the Board members than the actual announcement...that's the impression I got from the video. I skipped over all of the talking heads to get to the announcement itself.
 
I'm going to have put that on the calendar. Not sure which one though.
I went to the 30 anniversary in charlotte back in 94. Had a blast. Drove my 90 convertible done there with a friend. They offered track time, but I couldn't do it.

Yeah, that's a great idea Ryan! I would think my car will be ready by then.
