Megafactories Ford Mustangs

Great show.

I have two concerns...

...all American Car???....well at least 55% is US/Canada made. It is assembled in the US though.

...only nameplate in continual production for over 50 years???...well maybe 49...but the Suburban has been in production for 79 years.
Maybe the Suburban wasn't 'called' a Suburban when it started production (1934) and maybe its stopped production during the war years...have to look into that....but it still it has to exceed the years of production verus the Mustang.

I was questioning the same thing. What about the corvette too. It's been in production since 1954.
 
I guess I never knew they didn't make an 83. Was not a big fan of the 80s vettes. Interesting.
 
Fun,

F series ford has to be up there in continual production, But they switched from F100 to F150 still considered an F series though

I want a new mustang GT. :sad

...and before it was an F100 it was an F1!

BTW, anyone notice the shirt the blond assembly line worker was wearing at 3:23 in the vid? "Bite Me Chev Boy!! Real Men Drive Fords" :thu :thu
