Its possible, but the clear will likely yellow due.....at least thats what I've been told. Even a good polish will leave a coating on the aluminum to protect it, but if you don't keep up with it that is when water spots happen. Then it's off to the buffing wheel! I like using the Mothers Powerball with some polish, but everyone has their own ways to keep aluminum clean (without the Zoops, that is).

I'll soon find out what the clear will do. I had to have my intake glass beaded so it got a nice coat of clear. It actually looks pretty good right now. Sort of a wet, gray look to it.

Nice usage of the correct S.F. spelling of Gray. Mark will be proud.

And not his normal type of proud either... :ga

I sure am glad he lives halfway across the country then. Good thing he doesn't have any neighbors also. If his ears are any indication, he'll need the room to "spread out".

Never happened.... :WOP

Pics coming as soon as the valve covers get here and I get the pushrods. There will be some assembly/finished product pics if for no other reason than for me to reference on the next go around. I like to call it "disaster preparedness".

I have to show off my Polished Tall Valve covers because they did cost me an arm and a leg.
Nothing special but....
