It's easier not to think about it......

I think I need to spend less time reading the mustang forums and focus more energy on the daily thong thread down in the farts lounge.

This week I've been reminded that:

1. My headlight doors fit like crap partly due to cracked/broken headlight buckets.

2. My T5 shifter rattles, probably due to lack of a mini-tower dust boot.

3. The road noise from the rear of my car is obnoxiously loud. Mostly due to "zero" sound deadening anywhere on the car coupled with the R model rear seat delete FG panel.

It's so much easier to forget about these things when looking at scantily clad women.

If you're spending more time in the mustang forums than the daily thong thread, then your priorities are really messed up!!! :craz :craz

One of them is ******* and the other is ************. At least that works for me.......

Solution...Get a wireless router and a laptop and take those items out to the car to browse while working. It's win-win!

Yeah.... I'm on a wireless laptop right now in the LR watching the AZ/NE game. The router signal reaches well beyond the shop as I've had the laptop out there several times.

Dave, Dont be blaming everyone else for your failure to follow procedure! Everybody knows that once you sign on to the fix, first stop is the Daily Thong. If there is any time left after the thong, that is your problem! :rulez

I've heard Great Stuff can fix every one of those problems, Dave.

What is the coverage area/displacement of the typical can of "Great Stuff"?

If I sprayed all of the dead space behind the rear interior quarter trim pieces.... and under the R apron.... I'd bet it would quiet down the road noise issues I'm having.

Send Nick an email. He'll know the answer.

I recently had my pole barn insulated with closed cell spray foam, the kid applying it said he was going to do the underside of his truck for sound deadening and ding resistance. You think he could be related to someone?

I don't know if they still sell it but there use to be packaging foam called Insta-pak. It came in 55 gal. drums. that should fill up any void in the car. :craz
