I have been locking the Dark Blue Mustang ever since someone stole my fuzzy dice. I went out this morning to leave and when I tried to unlock the door, it would not. Got in from the passenger side and the lock pull knob will not pull up and lifting the door handle does nothing. I am wondering how to remove the door panel with the door shut. Anyone?

Then when I got to work, had to scoot out the passenger side, I was putting my had on the seat bottom to brace and push my big butt to the other side, my drive seat bottom ripped at the seams.

Sounds like Murphy is alive and well at your house!

Just think it is over and you can now move forward and get new stuff to play with...

Maybe Duane has something leftover from MBB V that he could send you.

Cycle the lock knob up and down until you feel it pop all the way up. From the outside, you can do the same thing with the key--cycle it alternately to unlock, then lock etc. until the knob pops up all the way. If you lock the door with the key you won't have that problem, unless someone tries to open the door while locked.

I think whatever Duane had, he left in a trash can at the night club.

After about 15 min of trying to cycle the lock knob up and down, it finally unlocked. Now I just need the time to fix it. I told everyone in the house not to lock the door.

Wow, I didn't think it would take 15 minutes. You probably need to clean and regrease the latch and lock mechanism. I sprayed inside my door with WD40 and it helped for a while.

Do not rely on WD40 as a lubricant. It was developed as a material to promote water displacement. The lubricating affect will be very short lived as you discovered.

Got hit again by Murphy. While driving to work, noticed the temp gauge was not working. Drove the other Mustang to the store last night and I hearing a noise like a Cat in Heat under the hood. I think the water pump is going out. Then this morning, when I was in the garage, I heard air escaping the compressor. :wtf It is coming from the valve on the regulator (not even a year old).

After I got to work, my Dad called me to say a big tree fell across a fence near my dear stand.

Just fixing things is becoming a full time job! You would think I had Midlife's curse, wait, :confu Mid did both my harnesses. :hide

Enough said right there. I am so sorry that the curse has hit so hard.
