Is this the direction of future Mustang restoration?

Saw one of those in use when I was in Daytona Beach last April. My buddy took me over to DB State College's test facility. That really is some cool stuff!

I was third owner in a bussiness for a while (Thunder Tech Racing). We made axle, steering, chassis and suspension parts for RC Monster Trucks and stadium trucks. We used the caliper method to measure and create 3D drawings but the printing process was called "rapid profiling" and we made tons of prototype parts that way before making molds or having machine shops make the parts. That scanner would have been really trick! I was the R&D guy and did all the drawings and measurements. They are still in bussiness and you can see some of my work here -->http://www.thundertechracing.com/
here is one of my drawing of a steering set-up

I looked into buying one of the "printers". I'm not sure if it was shown in that clip, but I saw a replication of a crescent wrench, and when it was finished, the ABS version was even adjustable. I was amazed.
