I am joining the local car club here, tonight was my first meeting. We live about 4 miles from Pinehurst NC, this past weekend Pinehurst Resort (golf) hosted their first Concours D'elegance Car show. They want it to be "like" Pebble Beach. Well as I had plans for the weekend and the cheap tickets were $50.00 I opted not to go. A member of the club runs SLR Automotive, a company that restores HIGH END BIG MONEY cars. About 10 of the cars from the concours are in storage at SLR Automotive awaiting transport back to their owners. Long story short, we got a free look at these cars. Here a few pics the cars and of cars under restoration. One is a 69 Mach 1 and another is a 68 Shelby.
