hood hinges... which are the best to buy?

Welp, tried to put my hood on as per Sluggo's advice. Let me tell you, putting a hood on by yourself is not easy. This is the first time that the hood has been bolted to the hood hinges since I took them off. The drivers side started to bend badly and eventually broke at the rivets, actually sheared right threw the metal. They are done now.

So, I need to buy new hinges and want something that is of good quality and not thin flimsy junk. I've researched and got mixed reviews. Dynacorn and Scott Drake seem to be made thicker. Question is are they that much better than the normal repops? Can I reuse the stock springs or should they be replaced in the process?

I went refurbed originals very good choice. Can't remember the company but will find it if you need it.

Big money from my research. Not sure whether my original driver side could be repaired. It completely sheared the rivet out of the metal. Plus they are pretty bent.

I refurbished my orignal ones.
I made sure that all rivets where " loose" on their flat side.
I layed the flat side of the rivet on a vise and hammered down the punched side of the rivet.
That way " the play " in the hinges went away.I then welded the stamped side of the rivet to the hinge.
Sandblasted them and they are as good as new.

I think I've decided on the dynacorn ones. Just waiting on a response from CJ about whether they are on back order.
