Hi all, just got turned on to your site by AtlantaSteve so ya'll can blame him :yikes
On some other forums as Jonk or Jonk67. Hopefully my sig line works and my '67 Coupe shows up. Its' current state looks nothing like the pic, engine/trans and all the firewall stuff in/out is off at the moment. Got caught up in a mess load of 'while I'm at it's.

My wife also has a Mustang now, picked her up an '09 Warriors in Pink, black with 'rose' pink striping, glass roof, etc., found out they only made 199 WIP in '09, now she takes it to cruise ins and shows and wins everything that my Coupe never did...

Hope I can add something or answer a question here or there.
Jon

Welcome to StangFix. Everyone is kind of informal here so you should fit right in. Only warning do not cut down the Grabber Orange Gang. They are darn right mean if you do.

welcome.....

Yuo shouldn't have mentioned Steve....we would have liked you better. :rofl :rofl :dance

Its a fun place as long as you don't mind some craziness. :crazy

Weren't the WIP cars a 'Breast Cancer Awareness' promo?

Welcome. Dang place is getin' crowded....

There is no craziness here. This is a very dedicated Mustang info site (if you can get thru the B/S) :rofl

Yes to the WIP program.

Yes, Ford donates $500 from each sale to the Susan G. Komen fund, bought it for the wife since she's a survivor, had her last chemo in Feb. '09 and bought her the car in ~May when her hair came back! She gets lot of attention in it which she's not used to, people asking to take pics, etc. It's really brought her out of her shell. Even though it's got pink racing stripe on the hood and a pink ribbon down the side I still drive it when I can, more young ladies approach me than ever have in my '67....

Hey, man. Glad you found your way over!

Jon

:ide Ya know, I'm wondering if I could get "Free Exams" on a license plate and how many of the 199 are still available.... :ide

Seriously though, thats a great idea and I'm sure the car brings lots of smiles and memories to a lot of folks. I would think Ford would build more of them and pony up (pun intended) more moola...

Welcome. And don't believe a word about the GOG. We're super ultra cool guys and everyone wants to be like us. :nice
