OK guys, It's time to put down the welders, grinders, hand tools and instead spend some time with your mom or with the mom of your kids. If you have neither then get back to work on your metal family member.

But for most of us........... HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
 
Mother's Day... :wtf is that?

I still woke up early (6am) and had to cook my own eggs and hashbrowns, and I'm cleaning the house. :shrug
 
I couldn't sleep last night, went to bed at 3AM, got up at 6:30AM and made my wife breakfast and her lunch. I'm cooking her favorite pasta for dinner.

I still have to call my Step-Mom and my Mom...

So Kat, Get on those folks around your house and make sure they know this is an important holiday to remember! They could at least give you a card!

My husband got me a card, flowers, and chocolate covered strawberries. :thu My kids... well daughter is in her room (16yr olds :roul)... and my son, is in his room playing. I told them best present they can get me... is stay in their rooms and pretend I'm not home. LOL

Peace and quiet. No children fighting = WIN

We conducted another year of tradition for Mother's day.

We head to the Channel Islands Harbor and pig out on spider, and dungeoness crab and fish. We then head back to my place where I finish preparing and serve a fresh berry cremw bruleee and coffee. All the Mom's then get to open their gifts.
I'll post the recipe for the creme brulee on the kitchen portion of the site...... (including pictures).
