Well...not a "real" barn find...I "rediscovered" it in MY barn! :roll ...Ive had too many things get in my way to even think about working on it. I put it in the "back" shed when I moved here (6 years ago) and pretty much forgot about it. In a nut shell...all 4 daughters are through HS, college (2 with masters),..3 out of 4 are married and the youngest (of 4) granddaughters is in pre-school, so now I have a little more time,so I decided with the great weather this week-end,to dig out the mustang and move it up front, where I can work on it...here is a few pics of its journey from out back to its final (for awhile) resting spot.:

1st time to see the light of day in 6 years

As soon as I do a bit of cleaning and organizing,my first order of business is to finish repairing the cowl..pass side is done, just have to fit and weld the drivers side and i can close it up...then the fun begins..the rockers,inner-outer wheel houses, and quarters..I am sure I have enough metal to replace to keep me busy the next 6 years :roul
And...as you can see, there is more than enough rust on this thing for everyone...lol...I have no intentions of returning it to stock..there are much better examples out there to stick that kind of effort into. I dont know my final plans yet, but they will include upgrades in almost every area.

Thanks guys..I am not too sure about the details yet...once I get it rust free, the color will depend on how straight I can get it..lol...it has a white interior, and I want to keep that. the motor is currently a '69 302...for the time being, the plan is to just warm it up a bit (300-350 hp).. upgrade all the suspension, and brakes, then drive the wheels off it...lol .. I am not planning on any track time, so I want it to have good street manners, so my plan is to stop by Shaun's (Street or Track) booth in Columbus in a couple weeks and see what we can come up with for the suspension...I will start a build thread..well..as soon as I start doing anything worthy of pictures..lol
