Goodbye my bud, Staark. Born, April 30, 2001. Died, November 19,2013.

You always greeted me and we spent a lot of time together in the backyard.
Worst part is I'm on a business trip and my wife has to deal with all of this.....

So sorry to hear the news Steve. It's tuff when you lose a good friend. Our thoughts are with you.
 
I'm sorry, Steve. As you said, the worst is that you're not home to share the grief. God Bless.
 
Steve, very sorry to hear. As others have said our pets are more than family members, and when they are German Shepherds even more so in my opinion.

More than family members......Maybe that is why I feel so more remorseful when a family's pet passes away as compared to a family member, since they really don't have a choice in their destiny.
 
Sorry for your loss. I know what you are going through, I lost my Shepard, and cried for a week, literally, then lost our other one two weeks later. Remember all the good times.
 
Thanks for all the kind words, everyone.

He was so well behaved and loved. I'm now worried about his older sister becoming depressed. She's in better shape than him but the reality is, she'll be 14 in Feb.
