for you 6 cylinder guys..where does this fuel line go?

I bought my son a 1966 Mustang 6 cylinder coupe that had a clifford conversion on it. The conversion brought it to a 2 baralle Weber. The Weber has 2 fuel line inlets on the side of the carb and the top fitting had a rubber plug over it. The plug was not fuel safe and fuel was dripping at a fast rate when I started it. I put anoter plug over it, but want to know where it is supposed to go. The Clifford site and Webber searches did not help much. I did find these 2 pictures with the exact same carb in a Mustang with a fuel line in the top fitting, but it was routed to a "T" fitting. I can't see where it goes from there.. can someone help me identify where this goes and what it is?? I want to do it right.. I did email clifford, but no answer yet..

Boy, that has me pretty stumped. Why would it go from the pump to carb then to what?

Dave, No matta' what Jen says about you on facebook..........You're ok in our books.

There are a number of applications that have two or more Weber carbs. Perhaps that is the fuel distribution manifold for a multi carb set up which would not be needed on a single carb application??
