For sale: 1970 Boss 429 JUST THE BODY

Was an extremely rusty 1970 Boss 429 Grabber Blue. Complete car minus engine/trans. Said found under a tarp, parked since 1975.
 
no doubt he was asking a mint for it because he saw what Boss 9s sell for on the B-J auctions! There is a guy local to me with a Boss 429 that was hacked into a drag car 30 years ago. It is just the body and rear subframe, the entire front of the car is gone as well as the drive train. He wants nearly 6 figures for it!
 
Funny part of the description said, best offer takes it before I haul it off to the scrap yard...... RIGHT....

Apparently the Cr@igslist ad was bogus but there was a legit eb@y auction. I think the auction ended early because the seller was able to trick someone into thinking $30k was a far price for a basket case B9. Wow !
 
Too bad it was fake, my cousin has a B9 engine out of the 6th 1970 if I remember correctly. The car was turned into a dirt tack car and long ago scrapped.
