After 4 months, I finally got may approval for the YOM plates. It would have been 2 months if the :fbomb DMV here didn't screw up. They didn't fill out their portion of the paper work, so it came back. It took so long, that the registration that they sent is only good for 13 days, since my registration is due on the 16th. Have I gotten a bill in the mail? NO. So, I have to go back down to the :fbomb DMV and pay for my registration.

I don't know how to do a poll, so I'll just ask the question. They send the registration with metal tabs for the month and year. Do I use the tabs, so the 1966 stick will show, or do I not use the tabs and place the stickers on the plate?

Thanks mods for setting up the poll....I'm blind, just saw the start poll option.

I say use one tab, either for the month or year sticker. The other would go on the plate.

Thanks for the idea Frank. Hadn't thought of that one....I'm leaning on putting the month on the plate and using one of the tabs for the year.

And yes, YOM stands for Year of Manufacture.

I tried to mess with Sam, but you goobers just didn't want to play eh? :sad

I'm sorry.... :cry

I guess my sense of humor got lost during one of the trips to the DMV :cry
