Anybody shed some light on their experiences with the original hinges and making them work? They are moving too much and I think I need to buy some aftermarket ones. If this is true, which ones to buy?

fiberglass hood and original hinges

What do you mean the hinges move too much? Sideways? Loose rivets?
The side to side slop. I never noticed it when I had a steel hood. I bought the fiberglass springs to attach to the hinges but it just seems too loose.
