Ex Bob Glidden Car

I'd sell my left nut for that thing, price does seem low for such a bad a$$ car with that kind of heritage.

Thats bad @$$, I'm gonna go check my Lotto numbers...

I wonder if that's one of the original 50 lightweight CJ cars? I had an opportunity to buy one of them years ago, I was buying a 68.5 R code from a guy in michigan and in the same garage was one of the lightweights. I can't remember now who he told me the driver was.
He said he would take 30K for it. (still a great deal even though it was years ago) I didn't have that kind of money so I bought the one I had gone after for 6.5K. I still regret not getting a loan and buying it.
Anyone wanna buy my fastback? lol I'd love to have that car.

If true, it's a steal.

It really looks way too low to be legit, but I've seen the car in person, and that sure looks like a photo of it. I'd be leery of scam as that car by itself is worth more WITHOUT the racing history from a top 10 NHRA all time racer like Glidden. I'd think it would trade at the 150k level.

Just my .02

From another article I just read that car is not a R code. It was delivered to the Gliddens as a S code code. It would be interesting to see the VIN number for the car.
