Ekectric '68 Mustang -60 1.94sec Qtr 10.24

So, how long do the batteries last (life time and charge)? And what do they cost to replace when the inevitably go flat and can no longer retain a charge?
 
Its just a drag car I'm sure. Meant for speed only. I'm sure they last less than a minute.
 
Impressive. But emotional attachments to cars include sights, sounds, and smells- not just thrust.
The smell of race gas or a Ferrari 355 flyby in a tunnel or a small block V8 shredding at 7k RPM have nothing to worry about- they grab ahold of the imagination and can't be forgotten. Electric is fine but not visceral.

Electric cars will kill the autosport/motorsport
