EFI inline fuel pump question

This is a stupid question I am sure... I think I mounted my fuel pump backwards. I have the ron morris EFI pump which is the same as the F150 frame pump. This does not have inlet and outlet marked on it anywhere. I have the side with no wires pointing towards my fuel rail, and the side with wires sucking from the tank. Is this correct or do I have it backwards?

All of my pumps have had the wiring side on the outlet.

Ditto.

Below is a picture of my EFI pump installed. Notice the wires are on the outlet side of the pump......

Dave's looks like the vortech TRex that I have, and yes the outlet is on the wire connection side.
Not sure what yours looks like but I'm sure Ron Morris or their distributor can tell you.

I can almost guarantee that the outlet is on the side with the wires. I work parts and I've never seen a pump like that set up any other way.

Thanks guys. It would appear that I installed mine backwards... will fix and hopefully fire it up before christmas eve! wish me luck :ecit
