Different

Been around for a while. I think this is the second one being in blue. Thought the first was in red.....
 
yep, they are on e bay time to time, theres even a guy who makes the top out of fiberglass on there every once in a while.
 
This car was at a recent car show here in Houston. Actually looks pretty good. I had to look twice before I realised it was a convertible. Needs some detail work but all in all a pretty cool top for a vert.
 
You could take a coupe and make a roadster with a fastback top.....????

Could be a cool third car.....???

Convertibles have SERIOUSLY different structures than coupes or f'backs. You cannot just whack the top off a coupe and call it a roadster. You have to do some SERIOUS structural work on the car before it's roadworthy.

I don't know if these cars have had that work done or not, but I doubt it. Most don't understand the difference...
