Connected Shag's battery today......no poof of smoke..WTF?

Shiattt, I'm running out of excuses to fire up Shag. Today I connected the battery after I ran out of excuses to do it and there was no poof of smoke! No nothing! Once connected all I saw was the interior lights were on. Cluster lights came on after I pulled the headlight switch on. Forgot to check if the tail lights were on.

This weekend I'm installing the radiator hoses and fill the water.

Running out of excuses to fire the Cleveland up.

I can't believe that thing didn't fire up WEEKS ago! There's no way in hell I would have waited this long!!!

You mean the look on his face when he turns the key and nothing happens, as suddenly remembers that he forgot to hook something up. :craz
 
Just hook up the cam to your tripod/light stand so that way everyone can rejoice in the sweet sound of the beast vibrating the building.

Just don't forget to turn the cam off when the calling of Shag's Cleaveland gets ya all hot and bothered.

Wait for the engine builder to show up. Cam break-in is an important step that is oftentimes overlooked/screwed-up by the backyard mechanic. You paid to have the engine professionally built and the builder has agreed to come over for the initial fire up. You couldn't ask for a better deal than that.... wait for him to show up.
