Chasing a Daytona Coupe

I took my BRZ up to Palomar Mountain last Sunday to meet up with a friend (another Subaru owner). After several runs up/down we were just about to call it a day when this showed up:

You can barely see my blue BRZ and friend's black STi in the background!

I didn't get a chance to talk to the guy, but by the time we headed back down the mountain, he appeared in front of me. It was a merry chase! I can't believe I kept pace with him with stock suspension and tires (215s vs 275/315). The BRZ is pretty amazing when thrown around corners!

My buddy had a GoPro on his hood, but it's hard to see the Coupe ahead of me. I'll post a link to the video if anyone is interested, but I thought I'd share the pics. My guess is Factory Five...can anyone confirm?

It is a Factory Five car and is for sale. You just need $53,000.

Yeah and what caused the crash looked like a clutch exploding on downshift just before the corner. He then didn't have any engine braking into the corner and went off and hit the tire barrier.
