Hi all, Been away for a while but since I had to pop in and vote for CoTM thought I'd update you with my shenanigans. The subject line highlights my summer/fall projects on the stang and all I can say is what a difference.
Caltracs are awesome. I don't know why I waited so long to put something in to eliminate wheel hop but these were definitely the right choice.
The Street Demon carb is everything I had hoped it would be. Better idle, smaller primaries = harder launch and best of all the stinky gas smell is all but gone. Still getting it dialed in but all in all I'm really happy with it.
The line locks - well there isn't really a good reason for them except for the fun factor. I get so much grip with the Caltracs that getting a good smoky burnout at Nicks next year needed a little help!
