Boston Market GTG in Santa Clara

I was out riding my bike to Off the Ramp (bike shop in Santa Clara) to get some extra tubes for the Schwinn when a 34 Ford rolled up next to me. I thought to myself, its to early for the Boston Market gtg in Santa Clara, but I was very wrong.

Only two Vintage Mustangs, a two 66 coupes, but the show seemed in full force. Anywho, just thought I would post it on here. The GTG is always on Wednesday, not exactly sure at what time it starts but it ends at about 18:30 19:00 on the Corner of El Camino Real and Scott in Santa Clara, CA.

This one caught my eye, yes I was thinking about 70_fastback chopping his rat rod.
Sorry iPhone supplied Pic.

Holy cow, that's the lowest chop I think I've ever seen. How could you see to drive?
Ya gotta have three friends so someone can watch out each direction.....and pray a lot.

LoL! Driving strictly by monitor. That would be interesting, kind of like the Batmobile from the Dark Knight.

I will be sure to update weekly on the most interesting ride of the show.

thanks for posting, that thing could be so much better if they did something different with the front end.

So another Wednesday has come and gone and the turnout was very impressive especially taking into consideration how cold it was. Yeesh!

Here are a few pics, I mostly lookout for the Mustangs but next week I will be taking my Nikon DSLR and taking some artistic photographs of the cars out there. Enjoy the pics from lastnight.

I've been meaning to get over there but my schedule had been somewhat packed lately. Next week is already booked so it looks like April 7th is the earliest Wednesday I've got. You planning to go then?

Regards, Jeff

Hi Jeff,

No worries, unfortunately I got nothing really going on Wednesday since I ride Tuesday and Thursday and take a break between riding days. I will make it a point to be there on the 7th for sure.

Just FYI: I still get kudos for the photograph I took of the 67 there from last year.

The Boston Market Cruise In had a really great turn out this week. Jeff was able to bring the 67 and hang out for a bit which was really nice and very motivational which helped me get some more work done on Fred this evening. LoL

As we were chit chatting he chuckles and says to me, you need to snap a photograph of this thing. I turn around and what do I see.....

Any who, it was really great to see Jeff again and we are hopefully going to be having a little engine/tranny removal party at my place some time next month so everyone nearby let me know what Saturday or Sunday works best and we can get it all planned out.

Here are some interesting photographs from this weeks Cruise In.

Sorry for the bad contrast on the photographs, it was 94 degrees and really really bright. (darn iPhone)
