Borgeson steering joint trouble.

Having trouble fitting a couple of Borgeson Steering U-Joints on my steering. They are 5/8" 36 spline but will not fit on a 5/8" 36 spline shaft. I pulled out the calipers and measured the female end and it only measures .583" in the deep parts of the splines. When I measure the shaft it fits into it I get .620" (on the out side of the teeth). No way are these splines gonna mate. Has anyone heard of Borgeson having produced a run defective U-Joints lately? :rant

Mine fit fine.

The 36 spline 3/4" fit like a glove. The other two there's no hope. I have a friend in Nashville at the Goodguys show and he's gonna try to look them up tomorrow. 4/100's to me is a lot to be off.

May have found the problem. After talking to a tech at Borgeson he said they made two 5/8" 36 spline u joints with one being like .05" bigger than the other. I have ordered them and hope they will fit. Apparently these are for Chrysler products and just a little bigger.
