Bond on 67 Shelby scoop

It's not so much that fiberglass will not bond to metal it will, there are more car company's using it to bond the panels from the fact. The main problem is the heat from the engine. You are dealing with two different substrates that absorb heat differently. Rich.

Thanks guys. I have thought about a bolt on 68 cobra jet scoop. Didn't know if it would look right on my 67 though. I don't know.

I had a bolt on Boss 429 scoop on my 67 for a long time and it looked cool (I thought anyway).

Rich,
I wish you were doing all this cool stuff when I was doing my car!!! I haven't had a chance to use your products but I havn't heard anything bad and the styling is great.

I took some pics today of my kids car. I bonded this scoop on about 5 years ago. This was a bolt on scoop bonded on with structural adhesive and grafted in with body filler. Chances of this cracking are slim to none.

We only make a full fiberglass hood, but I do have just the scoop that I bought from another company, I was getting ready to put it on Ebay for 50.00 bucks.
