Blondes...Grrrr!

Today, while driving home on a busy 4 lane highway (not an interstate) and heavy traffic in both directions, a large red pickup truck pulled out on the right hand side street into the median turn lane to turn left. Not only was there a car waiting to turn left across the same traffic the pickup truck was trying to merge into, the back of the truck extended out into the left hand lane of the traffic. The other car had the right of way if and when the oncoming traffic had cleared. I had to nearly perform a panic stop from hitting the truck bed that extended out into my lane. The pickup truck sat there for a good 45 seconds while everyone was honking horns. I got a good look at the driver...yeah...a blonde.

Dumbass.

Guys at work ask me if I miss the days of excitement and "running and gunning" from my past police job. I told them I only miss one thing and I miss it twice a day. The thing I miss is my ticket book and the two times a day I miss it are on the ride to work in the morning and once again on the return trip home! There has gotten to be some REALLY dumbass drivers out there anymore. Grrrrrrrrrrr.
