I am fairly active in our local Masons Lodge, also I am sec/treas of our district chapter (8 lodges) fundraisers--our local lodge sells grilled ribeyes/chops/brats/hot dogs on fri evenings, I try to help every fri and this week I had to do the ordering of supplies, get help lined up ect--also tomorrow is the District scholarship fundraiser golf outing, another lodge member and I have been going to local businesses asking for $100. to be a hole sponsor or donate door prizes, it takes a lot of time and is kind of stressfull for my simple mind to keep all of this recorded properly and set up the outing so it goes off well.---We do pretty good for being small scale--our local lodge sells around a hundred sandwiches on fridays for the three months we do it and we usually raise around $3000. for the scholarship fund-(we give 4-$500. scholarships yearly. Kind of tooting my own horn but if we help with some youth with furthering their education--who knows what one of them might achieve!!!
