Here's more of me on track, embarrassing all "real" drivers from years gone past! Watch as I do my best to completely shred all semblance of tread from the ailing Goodyear Bluestreaks.

It sure was fun and it was good to feel what the tires become when the tread is gone....Useless :rofl

There were so few of us at the track so they combined the intermed and advanced groups. Near the end of the video watch as I get freight trained :pbj

The track is only an hour away and it's all "empty" roads to get there! The 2.1 mile course is what we run on Wednesdays, for the club DE's they run the full 2.5 mile course which includes the carousel...my favorite part.

Heartland Park was repaved just a few years ago and is smooth as glass, great track.

Mark, what was that blue thing in front of you at the beginning? It looked like a PT Cruiser.

Maybe some kind of VW.....he's a great driver and in the advanced group....it was fast as hell!

Is it just me or are you all driving backwards around that track?

Must be you, are you dyslexic???? :pick

It's always run CCW. It would be fun though to change it up and run CW :naug

Ooooo, sorry my track poundage bored you so much.........

Uhh, to answer the question, NO.

Finally got to watch this today. Awesome! I would love to try some of that whenever my mustang is drivable again.

Question...how much were you off your average lap times with beatup old tires?

Steve

I was about 4 seconds slower then the last time out, it went downhill from that!

great video!

That was exciting watching your video! Your motor sounds really strong, and now and then send a chill up my spine upon hard acceleration! Kind of reminded me of a video game for some reason! I used to do trackdays on my motorcycles, but that looked more exciting! Thanks!!!

Cool video. Once you hit 4 gear, it looks like you're really hauling a$$. What's you top straightaway speed at the track?

Remember, he never caught the PT Cruiser, so what, maybe 75 mph.... :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl
