Anybody have a distributor clip?

Relized yesterday while attaching the spark plug wires that my distributor cap was lose. Upon futher investigation i found that the back clip had broken off the distributor, Anybody have an extra one around or know where I can buy just the clip?
 
I might have some, will check. I know I got some one time, pretty sure it was NPD, but don't see it in their catalog. They came in a ford package so it would have been NOS. Might still be available at the dealership but doubt it. Would be readily available at most parts yards.
 
I think that I kept my original dizzy from my '70. And the reason I say "think" is because one clip was already broken off as well. But it did have the other one on it.

If I have it, it's yours.
 
I believe these clips have been used by Ford since the 20's without any change. I seem to remember this was a Car Talk Puzzler...
 
Bad new brotha... when I traded off my 302 roller block I sent that dizzy out with it.

So no clip. Sorry.

I would head to your local salvage yard and gank one. Stick it your pocket and say you didn't find the part that you needed... :5
 
I'll check when I get home. I've got several dizzy's in a box up on the shelf. There's gotta be something in there.
