At one of our local yards. No idea what they want....... Says Mach 1 on the trunk center, not sure of engine size. Love the tail lights....

I think the rims and glass (minus windshield) might be all that could even be salvaged. Oh, and the spoiler. Notice the cool sun roof too?

I wonder what the underdash harness could be procured for...

If that was anything except for a 71,2,3 - would you say the same thing?

Just curious?
maybe not... it would depend on the price. What can we get this baby for? $$$

$300 right now from what I was told this am. Goes to crusher between now and Mon. am. Guy says he has advertised it for a year on and off, lots of talk, no follow thru,

Well, I went in Fri just after noon to remove the harness and see what else might look good...... The man running the crusher promised it would not be crushed until Mon. afternoon. I let them know I would be in on Fri. They crushed the car Fri, just before lunch. I let them know my feelings and that I have no need to do business with them again. Just plain stupid......

That sucks pete. Some times you just want to :bash their heads in. It seem a mans word is worth anything these days. Im sure hes heard a lot of stories though, about people who will be back and never come!

That really sucks even though i dont have 71/3 mustangs its good to get some original parts off them for a future project

Yep, they really sucked. I was there twice in two days, made phone arrangements with Randy to get the harness while in their office and said there might be some other items wanted. Oh well, :mid

You could have at least got pics of it crushed!

That thing was rusted beyond belief. It looks like it barely got hit in the back and the frame rail folded up.

Harness was probably all that was good on it.

I doubt that there was much good. I figured some dash pieces as it was a tach car with the center console gauges. It also had a good set of Cougar tail lights I thought might be worth a resell.

I looked thru the crushed cars they had ready to go but it had even left the yard completely. I was planning a crushed pic but no.....

Makes one wonder if they sold it to someone as a complete car......

You did post an address and phone.....I bet someone scooped it up.

And that would be fine......just why the lack of honesty if they did...........

Plus it would have to have been bought and hauled from 10:30 am to noon the next day.

You do realize what year it is right? Honesty is getting pretty hard to come by.[info] :gobp :pf :bike :tigg :pep

Of all the Mustang Harnesses, I have not seen a true 1971 harness. The Osborne Manuals have 71/72, with all of the schematics being a 1971. Ford, in all of their infinite wisdom, never managed to keep an underdash harness the same for two years running, so I don't believe Osborne. I lost my chance...bastids!
