Altenator harness

Being the electrical genius that I'm not, can someone tell me if the altenator harness plugs into this (pic) solenoid harness. I have searched all day for something on this. Thanks.

Those connectors looks like they belong to the stater solenoid and thereby the 3 pin connector is for the alternator. So , yes I my opinion and I don't wanna doubt Midlife's answer , he is the electrical guru .
