1. Good news. I have a new hood! Bad news I just noticed it has no holes for the pin letters. What do I do??? If I drill these off just a little it will kill me.
2. How do I paint inside the cowl vent? Not taking the top off, paint inside looks bad what do I do?

A few comments..
1. Got molding around windshield off tonight. That job sucks! Made a tool to release the clips half way through the job. Used a modified paint can opener.
2. After my brother drove 3 hours (twice) to repair all my rusty pin holes in the trunk jam I just found another one! Damn!

Cut the pins off of the back of the letters and use 3M Emblem Glue found at your local auto paint store. The glue is transparent and works very well.

Another option is to leave the hood lettering off, if you like a sleeker look. '69-up does not have the lettering.

or just buy the letters that already have the adhesive on them. That way you dont have to worry about screwing something up try to get the pins off and the letters to sit flush.
