2013 Project Planning

janschutz

Corn Hauler
I am planning for the Hot Rod Power Tour. Julie and I are planning on doing the long haul. I think I am going to take my Dark Blue 68 on the 2013 tour. My one must item is AC.

Also Need:
Fix Temp Gauge.
Fix Steering wheel - Keeps coming loose.

Also would like:
Mustang to Fear headline with console.
Custom console with computer and wifi

What are y'all plans for next year.

I plan on installing my recently acquired one inch drop coil springs and 4 1/2 leaf springs that I bought from a fellow member here.

Oh yeah, I also will be buying a high resolution camera also. :nut

John sounds like a good idea to at least get that steering wheel fixed :steer, the A/C will probably be a must have, at least to keep Julie :yah happy.
Glad to hear you and Julie are planning on doing the Long Haul, it starts in your backyard. I've been talking to Jerry Coleman and he said he'll have "Anti E" ready for the PT, he's even got all his hotels booked already. After that he was all booked I went and booked my hotel's yesterday, so that part finished. Jerry talked to Craig and he said he was in for 2013 also.
I think there is 156 days till the start of the PT so we all have some time but it does go by fast, real fast, so lets get those projects started.

I just want to get my car running again. 2 years off the road is too long for me. Then I'm just going to drive the hell out it to make up for it.

My brother bought me an aluminum dash set for christmas, I have way too much to do

*get stroker finished& T5 in/ make crossmember or buy one
*paint hood/lay stripes out
*electrical work! :barf1
*Rims/tires
*All lines and master cylinder
*figure out the rear end, keep 8" or do 8.8 swap or even 9"
*Interior-all of it.

The HRPT looks like a dream right now... :sad :sad who knows

My objective is to finish my engine bay and install my new 16-1 ratio steering box, also get the motor back in and drive the crap out of it. Oh one last thing get a set of disk brakes for the fronts for all that new HP that the cars going to have.
