How about 99 original miles......... Being serviced next door for a local Ferarri collector who felt the rubber hoses, belts might be getting kinda hard from lack of usage? He has another one same color and year but apparently that's his driver.

Sorry guys ,but I believe that is a 1985 Ferrari 288 GTO worth about 20 times what a 308 is worth and with 99 original could be more.

Still, no excuse for a Ferrari to have 99 miles on the clock. Give me that sumbiotch and I'll break it in :pbj

Beautiful car!

Following the PT, is not a way to properly break in a vehicle.

You are correct. I was helping them by applying pressure to the brake system and the speakers are marked Ferrari GTO.

Big problem trying to remove the center cap off two of the wheels. We were using some massive tools and no go. Gave up for the night. Tires are hard as steel. Owner wasn't planning to replace them but at this point he might have no choice.

Don't you have a leak somewhere to fix?

I don't know that really low miles like that are really a selling point to me.

I've seen people bragging they bought a low miles car before only to find out it was lacking power due to seals, etc in it being shot which usually results in having to go through the motor.

My brother bought a mid 80's Lotus Esprit Turbo back in 2001, very low miles, hardly driven. That POS broke down every other day due to it sitting for so long. Seals, lines, brakes, bearings....it drained him where he only kept it for a couple of years.

It was fun driving it when it wasn't broken :vic

There is a guy around the corner from me with a Lotus in the garage. I have never seen it out of the garage in the 6 years I have lived in my house. Sits in the garage with the hood up most of the time. I've seen him working under the hood several times. Guy next door to him has a clean '73 Mach, it doesnt come outside much either.
