How can you effectively test the auction feature if we can't bid on it?

BTW, you didn't say we can't use "buy it now."

I'm setting up categories and testing functionality. I like to make sure things work before I turn them loose on the board.

We'll test the bidding and payments next. It will link to you paypal account.

This is mainly to help those who want to sell things and contribute part of the proceeds (undecided yet) to the board in the process. The software simplifies the ads and integrates it into the look of the board as well.

Sam, Go ahead and buy this and then create an auction with the same dollar amounts which I will buy from you. This will allow testing of the process and the money will be a wash between the two auctions.

Parameters are:
Starting price 1.00
Reserve price 2.00
Buy it now 2.00
Shipping .50
Bid increment .10

There is a blind fee of 2.00 (testing)

Oops. Looks like I did a listing instead of an auction. My bad. I assume the listing is just that, a classifieds ad?
