New with 66

Hi all, here's my 66 mustang. I've had it for a few years. Running a 347 stroker, and a built C4 auto. WP_20170809_19_28_00_Pro.jpg
I'm going to be replacing all of the soft suspension & springs plus steering parts with new. And there is a little sheet metal repair underneath that needs to be addressed sooner than later.

Ok, Thanks, just posted over in the interior board. And I'm pulling some pics off my old phone.
The army truck is an 89 AM general 6X6, M35A2C. It was an air force truck, so its as highly optioned as they come. It has a " Continental "multi fuel engine, will run on gas or diesel motor oil, tranny fluid, kerosene, pretty much anything.. No joke. I just installed the MRAP "mine resistant armor protected" wheels and tires. Tires weigh 165# each and wheels with adaptors over 175# each. Killed my back putting those together and getting them on..

You work on oil wells? Land or sea-based? It's "rough" work for sure!

I worked on them for several years, it is rough work for sure. Especially on those North Dakota -40 degree winter days, wind blowing 40mph snowing sideways & The Company man pushing to get things back into production. Now Im on the numbers side of the business, and rarely get dirty or cold.
Im waiting for my NPD catalog and will be tackling some issues under the car, rear frame rails, both rear trunk corner pieces, bumper supports, and unfortunately the wheel houses on both sides and other issues all sheet metal related. To say corners were cut by the PO is an understatement, and I'm done being pissed about it. Ultimately the car will be repainted as well.
I love my Mustang and have gone too far to turn back now...
