I am very Leary of MSD parts at a fraction of OEM prices. I am gonna guess those are Chinese knock-off parts and not really MSD. My son's store carry's Accel brand but they are about $250 for a set of 8.Unless I'm looking wrong you can get a set of 8 msd coils for 140 ish on ebay.
hmm, plugged cat? could be... how to test that?Could have an O2 sensor stuck lean which would cause a rich condition. Have you verified that you don't have a plugged cat? MAF can cause very similar conditions, will the mustang MAF work? Did you try a spark tester on the coils to see if they are all hitting?
bad gas, also a hmmm, could be. We can try to dump it.Have you verified that the fuel is good?
