Crazy thing happened while sitting on the couch. As stated in "Whatcha Got" thread, we bought an unmolested 84 SVO last week. I'm now in the process of cleaning, replacing and documenting the history of the car.
A few boxes of "stuff" came with the car and as I went through it all I found original copies of "The Turbo Times" from the beginning of the SVOCA. original dealer brochures, owner's guide, Koni adjustment manual, a 3 ring binder full of mechanical repair sheets and notes from original owner and 3 large 1984 shop manuals cover every aspect of the car. The Marti sheet is there along with the car fax that helped me find the other previous owner. Now I know all 3 owners before me and have made contact with the original owner. He's coming to Ames this fall and we will hopefully meet up and get his stories first hand!
While working on removing the rear side panels to replace the seat belts, I found the build sheet. The car just keeps getting cooler!
Some pics so far.
