1967 Build called Electra

I dig me some MMA. If I was a younger man, I could see myself doing it.

Bill

Its a lot of fun and im getting a little old for it. At 31 things are slowing down for me and it makes it really hard. You do what you love though and im not ready to give it up

If you guys like getting abused so much move on out to Utah and get a couple more wives.o_O

Lol, I've got one wife and it's more than enough. If I was 21 again, I'd get into MMA, but at 33 I'm a little past my prime lol.

Well its been awhile and i havent done anything to the stang but i got rid of my 68 Chevy pickup and then turned around and drove to springfield mo to buy a 66 f100. It has a rebuilt 240 (I think) inline 6, 3 speed trans, supposedly 4:10 (Stock was 3.75), and lots of upgrades. It seems to have been a farm truck as some ghetto cab mount fixes and such but ive started to replace all that for safety. She did drive all the way back (8 hours at 60mph) and got about 17mpg. So other then the floor and what appears to be a throwout bearing she is pretty darn solid

Lot of memories in my dads 65 Stepside. I'll buy one if I can ever get this Stang done and prove what fun they are to the wife lol.

Seem like awesome trucks! Now if i could make time to work on the stang and the truck id be good to go

Thats a pretty sweet Ford.
I have been wishing I had found one but I must admit I am growing attached to my old Chevy... But I like that F100!!!

Oh, and I get 9-10 mpg with this weak 350. Its only rated at 175 and I doubt it has that much!!!

yeah i had a 350 in my C20 and i was lucky if i got 9mpg. It hauled though as it had a posi rear. But i got the truck cheap for what it is..P.O. stated they had put 7k in her. Im not sure exactly what has been done to the engine or if its a 240 but it runs good. I may switch it over to a 4 barrel setup eventually. These 1 barrel carbs are weird but all in all for what i paid she is a good truck. I looked at several in Nashville and Alabama. Some people will try to sell you some crap im telling ya..... I just got it in my head to try to trade or sell my truck. It sold for more then i paid for it and i was able to buy this and the parts to fix it. Already has new tires and a new front suspension including power steering and front disc conversion. So she drives great, like i mentioned biggest issue is rusted front cab mounts and the throwout bearing...Well at least so far lol

What are you smoking? I have never had a 65 or a swb but if you are reffering to my 66 F100 its a LWB

Must be the fumes lol. I thought it was a 65... and from pics it looks like a SWB. My bad, I still like it. I found a short stepside bed to fit a 60's Ford. just need the truck :)
