:bomb
So I go to pick up the '67 after leaving it with Craig for a week...and he makes it into a F##king RV...with a targa. :rant
Yeah... I'm guessing he and his painter friend got some spray cans at Home Depot and went to town...marroon no less
.......a sliding center roof (slides back over the rear window) with the side roof panels that can be removed...making a targa Mustang.
....a coffee maker in the dash with a water dispenser next to that.
.....a gas burner for making meals (behind the drive's seat)
.....extra big heater core located in the cowl (for those cold nights up in the Sierras)
....he reworked the dash for easy access to all types of storage bins
...passenger seat can be removed and stored behind the driver's seat for more storage/ sleeping space.
I know :wop
So.....
Well...I really spotted this '67 Fastback on my way home from Craig's with my '67. I had to wave down the guy and talk to him. He's been modifying this '67 for over 20 years. More a camper than a Mustang now...has a 302 in it. Yes its a targa with no stiffeners or supports what-so-ever. And he says its hasn't twisted apart yet. Wied guy...kind of the best dress guy from Goodwill.
I really hope the car started out as a POS but ya never know.
