Well now I know where all my brake fluid was going

Spent a few hours pulling the stang apart for disposal today. One of the things I'm saving is the rear. Upon removal one of the drums fell off and as I was putting it back on I noticed the shoes looked funny. And then I realized they were saturated with brake fluid. Yikes. And i wondered for quite some time why my fluid level was going down and I couldn't find any leaks. Note to self: check rear wheel cylinders next time. I'm glad the farthest I drove the car was down the driveway. :steer That could have ended ugly.

Well I finally decided it wasn't worth putting the money into repairing the extremely rusty T code body. I'm pulling all the usable parts off and looking for a more solid shell to work with. The body is likely heading to the crusher as I can't even find someone who would take it for free. I have my eye on some potential 65 fastback deals which of course would mean 90% of what I save would be useless but that's what selling and trading is for. Can't say that I'm enjoying the teardown though. Its a bit sad for me.
