Value of 1985 Bronco?

Someone is interested in buying my 1985 Bronco and I'm trying to find out what it's worth. The guides don't go back far enough. It's a fullsize Bronco, with the 5.8L nonEFI engine, a/c, p/s, automatic transmission, XLT package. It has 130,000 miles and the interior is in excellent condition. The exterior has the bad paint of the mid-1980s and the blue part has faded. I spent $1,700 on it back on it in 2006 to get it running well, but it now has sat since 2006. I was going to use it for my company, but my employees weren't capable of driving it safely so I benched it. Then the alarm system drained the battery and that was that. The alarm system has since been removed, but I haven't recharged the battery.

The guy who wants it is interested in the running gears.

Can anyone suggest a ballpark price to ask for it? (No, I'm not trying to sell it here.)

I would be concerned about any gas left in it, prob needs battery, tires rotted?---without seeing it it is just a guess but if it is a good drivetrain it ought to be worth $2,000-$2500 at least, that is just a stab in the dark. Around here a 85 would have gaping rust holes in it also.

I just bought a '93 5.0 auto Eddie Bauer with 100,000 miles, average in and out and paid $2600. Older ones here are around $1800 if running.

He knows about the gas, can see the tires, and I've told him why it has sat. There is no rust on the truck and no body damage. The blue paint is not good. I'm going to ask $3,500 and see if I can get $3,000. This is a loaded Bronco that I got at dealer cost for $18,000, so it probably was about $21,000 new.
