1. I took a break from my car, and am now finishing it up.

I have aftermarket fenders that cut into my front right tire. Can I get on the list to use the tool? I am in Baton Rouge, LA

2. I put a Borgeson PS setup on my car, but am running the factory pump. What pump should I get to make it work perfect?

3. My fuel guage is no longer working, where should I start with that one?

Thanks for any input. I feel so rusty.

On Question number 2 what do mean by getting it to work correctly?

I used the Saginaw pump that came with the Kit. I believe the pump by itself is around $200 or $300 which was the recommended pump with the install.

I have heard others just used their Ford Power Steering box without issue.

My stock pump doesn't give me any power at idle. I was wondering if the borgeson pump is good, or if many people are using the KRC (or whatever it's called) with better results.

#3 - Disconnect wire from the tank's sending unit and ground it nearby. Turn your ignition key to acc and see if the fuel gauge pegs out to full. If so, the gauge is good and your problem is probably the sending unit itself.

Have you had your car aligned? That may help or eliminate the fender contact.

Not sure why your PS pump is not working, at least some.

Your sending unit may be bad, also the push on connector that's on the unit is always a bad place to corrode and not make good contact. First thing I would do is make sure there is half a tank of gas at least and check that connection. Theres a great chance that will fix the problem. Others on here can tell you the proper way to check the gauge without removing it from the dash. Once you eliminate one problem then you will know its the other.

That's it.

Thanks! I will try that this evening. BTW Shag was an inspiration for me getting my car going.

I did have it aligned, but I am not happy that they did not align the steering wheel and have considered taking it back. I am running 225/50zr 16 tires.
