Thicker intake gaskets

The heads on my car have been milled at least twice, and we are now getting water into the oil. We've done a compression test on all cylinders and there is no problem there. The motor was checked for cracks and was found to be good.

Do any of you know of anyone that makes a thicker intake gasket for a 302 that would help with the clearance issue?
 
If your heads were milled down, then I think you want thinner intake gaskets to pull the intake deeper into the valley. I'm pretty sure that thicker would push the intake up and cause greater port misaligment issues.

Felpro (others too) make different gasket thickness'...

Did you have to open up the intake mounting holes to compensate for the head mounting holes moving closer to the engine's centerline?
 
it would seem like you would need your intake milled, but it seems they all fit a little different.

is the bottom of the intake too close to the end rails causing your issues? sometimes those edges need milled and sometimes the holes in the intake need slotted.

if you do really need a thicker intake gasket, then contact Cometic. They will make different thickness gaskets.

I have a set on mine.
 
Is there any way to check and see if the intake gaskets aren't sealing correctly, such as to set the intake on with no gasket to see if there's a gap?
 
Just remembered in case it helps: the car ran fine and did not smoke. It sat and idled for about 30 minutes with no problem, it only put water in the oil after driving it around a little while.

Yep, do a dry fit and look at the valley ends first. There should be a slight gap.
Now with a pair of threaded rods to keep the intake from sliding around, smear a thin layer of grease on intakes port face on both sides.
drop intake straight down onto the heads and apply pressure. Carefully remove intake straight up and look for grease traces on heads.
It should have left equal amounts around all ports.
