Found this one on ebay, I think I like it. Not that I'm near ready for a steering wheel.

Looks pretty good. Judging by the pics, it looks like the diameter of the grip area is a bit bigger than "normal". Would be nice to be able to grab it and see how it feels. Price is attractive.

Looks ok to me. I like the horn/wheel mounting as that is one of the more stable ones. Might buy it now and put it on the shelf......prices and availability do not always coincide with need...

Be careful of the thickness...looks thick. Also 14" may look a little small in a classic.

Was thinking the same . :confu :confu

But if you like it , who are we to withhold you on this .

Built the car YOU like , thats the most important thing to keep in mind.

I would contact him directly and ask him the circumference of the rim (grip area). I would also ask about a return policy. It might help to let him know you are part of a large car forum with many interested parties that are hesitant due to the "size" issue.
The wheel looks really nice. If the sizing was acceptable I'm sure there might be a few interested people here. Be a shame not to find a way to test one out.

This one is a 15 incher. The thickness is holding me up though.

Must not hijack the thread with sophomoric comments like "that's what she said when she first met me".

If you do not have power steering, the thicker steering wheel helps your grip tremendously, cutting down on the turning force. I now have a 14" wheel (standard is 16"), and it is about as thick as the one described. The decrease in radius is more than made up in gripping ability.

I like the Mahogany wheel. Get it!

You've got that right, I was soo looking forward to an EVM watts link! gone now!

I bought my wheel from a guy called Dom from France...he used to be involved with the orignal Moto-lita factory in france. His wheels are very beautiful.......You'll notice that i bought the 18 rivet wheel and i added a custom horn button.

Not to be cruel, but that screams "Ricer" :barf1

I just like the color scheme of it because it would match my interior. This is going to make some one comment :hide but 12.5" is too small really for what I want/need in Gertrude and that specific design I only see in 12.5". I need at least a 14" in Gert - no power steering and I need leverage! lol
